Trail Riding

Horse riding holidays in Tuscany in the Colline Metallifere, exploring some of the most remote and beautiful places of the uncontaminated Alta Maremma, discovering the joy of equitourism and horseriding in the countryside.

Our English riding centre offers trail rides of varying levels of difficulty and beginners are very welcome. We take great pride in the fact that we dedicate a lot of time and energy to our beginner or first time clients in the riding ring, teaching them the basics and making sure they are comfortable and safe before departing for a trail ride. A trail ride is no fun if you are simply a passenger and your horse does whatever he wants! Our goal is to show you the joys of riding and the fun you can have with horses - it is not our goal to process you through as quickly as possible to make room for the next paying client.

We get a lot of visitors who say they have experience horse riding and that's great! However, if you are an intermediate or experienced rider, you will also be required to demonstrate a certain level of competence in our riding ring before we depart for the trail ride. Groups of similar abilities ride together - experts and beginners will not ride together unless requested, in which case the ride will cater to the riders with the least amount of experience.
